Instructor led training classes enable participants to learn exactly what they need in a few hours rather than spending an entire day away from the office. Each class is typically 4 hours in length; however classes can be customized to accomodate specific client needs. Classes are typically scheduled on site so the training is specific to the client's environment and the needs of its end users. All classes are also available in version 2007.
This class introduces the new Outlook 2010 user
interface and customize the Quick Access toolbar. Learn to add your
Electronic Business Card to outgoing messages, preview Attachments, and
use the new Conversation view. You will learn to group messages by
Conversation, Clean Up redundant messages, create Quick Steps and use the
new People Pane. You will learn enhancements to Out of Office, overlay
multiple Calendars, and use the Scheduling Assistant. You will learn to
restrict access to Free and Busy information, share your Calendar
Snapshot with external users, and share and request the sharing of
Calendar, Contacts, Notes, and Tasks with other users in your
organization. You will learn to create Tasks and To-Do’s, assign color
coded Categories, and use the new Instant Search feature.

Learn to use the new Conversation View to move and/or delete all messages in a conversation and eliminate redundant messages. Quickly access folders pertaining to current projects using Favorites, customize your Signature with images and hyperlinks, and quickly create a To-Do list from incoming mail. Organize messages, appointments, and contacts with Color Coded Categories, overlay multiple Calendars, optimize searching using the new Instant Search feature and refine searches with Search Queries. Create Building Blocks to quickly insert commonly used text and graphics, search both the global and personal address book with a single keystroke, and quick tips to add new contacts from incoming messages. Many other tips and shortcuts are included that save time and increase productivity. (2 hour session)
This course is designed for individuals who have
completed the Outlook 2010 Introduction course or have equivalent
knowledge. You will learn to set message sensitivity, send messages with
voting buttons, change message formats, insert hyperlinks and Quick Part
Building Blocks, add your Signature and/or Business Card, create and
manage Contact Groups, and customize Desktop Alerts. You will learn to
Sort using multiple criteria, create Search Queries and Search Folders,
and create and manage Rules. You will learn to Archive mail, create and
manage Meetings, create and use Group Schedules, Overlay multiple
calendars, send Calendar Snapshots, Delegate Access to folders, and
customize calendars.
